Compliance & Risk Framework
MultiPay applies a risk-based approach to onboarding, payment routing, controls, ongoing monitoring and reporting across its services.
Four pillars
Regulatory-aligned infrastructure: Services use regulated financial infrastructure, licensed partners and payment networks, with requirements that vary by jurisdiction.
AML, KYC and due diligence: Client onboarding includes identity and business verification, anti-money-laundering screening and relevant due diligence.
Transaction monitoring and risk controls: Risk-based checks help identify unusual activity, enforce limits and maintain appropriate use of payment routes.
Clear service scope: Supported business models, geographies and transaction types remain within approved regulatory and operational boundaries.
Standards and regulatory coverage
Applicable requirements include anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF), Know Your Customer and Know Your Business (KYC/KYB), sanctions and restricted-party screening, transaction monitoring and reporting, data protection and operational security.
The precise requirements depend on jurisdiction, customer profile, account configuration, transaction activity and geographic exposure. The framework evolves with regulation and partner requirements.
Eligibility and service limitations
Services are subject to eligibility, onboarding approval and ongoing compliance assessment. Activities outside the approved compliance and risk framework are not supported. Products, features, jurisdictions and transaction types may be restricted by regulation, risk assessment or partner-bank policy. Access may be suspended or terminated where compliance obligations are not met.
Clients remain responsible for complying with applicable laws, regulations and reporting duties in their jurisdictions. MultiPay does not provide legal, tax or financial advice.
Payment and settlement boundary
MultiPay provides payment and settlement services only. Its responsibility concludes once funds are successfully credited to the beneficiary account. MultiPay does not participate in, manage or guarantee underlying commercial, investment or transactional activities beyond the payment and settlement chain.
