HELP & RESOURCES · EXCHANGE RATES & FEES

    See the full cost.
    Then decide.

A useful quote explains more than an exchange rate. Understand what you send, what is converted, what is charged and what the recipient is expected to receive.

    UNDERSTAND THE COMPONENTS

What can affect your total cost?

    01 / CONVERSION

    Exchange rate

The rate applies to a specified currency pair, direction and amount. Ask whether an exchange margin is included and compare the full recipient outcome.

    02 / SERVICE

    Transaction fees

Any applicable service charge should be identified for the transaction. Check whether it is charged separately or deducted from the amount being converted.

    03 / PAYMENT ROUTE

    Third-party charges

Intermediary banks, receiving banks, providers or digital-asset networks may charge fees. Ask which costs are known and whether further deductions are possible.

    Compare like for like.

Use the same sending amount, currency pair, payment route and timing when comparing quotes. A favourable headline rate may not produce the best net recipient amount once charges are considered.

    YOUR REVIEW CHECKLIST

Seven details to confirm before accepting.

    CheckWhat to confirm
Currencies & directionWhich currency is being sold, which is being bought, and whether any intermediate conversion is involved.
Sending amountThe total you will fund and the amount actually subject to conversion.
Exchange rateThe rate convention, any included margin and when the rate becomes binding.
ChargesService fees, known third-party charges and any costs that remain uncertain.
Recipient amountThe expected amount and currency arriving at the destination, including whether it is an estimate.
Validity & conditionsExpiry time, acceptance requirements, funding deadline and what happens if those conditions are not met.
Instructions & timingThe approved funding details, payment reference, beneficiary details and expected settlement timing.

There is no public live or executable rate on this page. Your transaction-specific quote and agreed terms govern the rate and charges.

    MULTI-CURRENCY & USDT ENQUIRIES

Confirm the conversion and the settlement route.

    FIAT TO DIGITAL ASSET

    2. Check the quoted USDT amount after applicable charges
    3. Confirm the supported network and destination address
    4. Understand funding, review and quote-expiry conditions
    DIGITAL ASSET TO FIAT

    USDT to supported fiat

    1. Confirm that the proposed transfer and network can be accepted
    2. Obtain current destination instructions before sending
    3. Check the agreed fiat currency and amount expected after conversion and charges
    4. Confirm the beneficiary bank details and expected timing

Fiat-to-fiat settlement using USDT: where agreed, MultiPay arranges the intermediate digital-asset steps. Confirm the costs of both conversion legs, any network and provider charges, and the final fiat amount expected. You do not need to operate an intermediate wallet. Availability and timing depend on the approved route.

USD is a currency; USDT is a digital asset. Do not treat them as interchangeable. A stablecoin’s value can depart from its target, and additional technology, liquidity and issuer risks can apply. Confirm all transaction details before sending funds.

    QUOTE EXPIRY

A new rate may be needed

If the validity period ends or funding conditions are not met, the original quote may no longer apply. Ask for confirmation before using an older quote.

    PROCESSING

    Timing is route-specific

Cleared funds, review requirements, banking hours, holidays and network conditions can affect processing. An estimate is not a guaranteed arrival time.

    RETURN OR CANCELLATION

    The original amount may change

A return, recall or cancellation may involve charges or a further conversion. Whether it is possible depends on the transaction stage and applicable terms.

    COMMON QUESTIONS

    A little more clarity.

Why is an online market rate different from my quote?

A market-information rate may be indicative and may exclude transaction costs. Your quote can reflect the currency pair, amount, available route, timing and fees. Ask for the full breakdown rather than comparing the rate alone.

Can you promise the recipient will receive an exact amount?

Ask whether the quoted recipient amount is fixed or estimated and which third-party deductions remain possible. Do not assume all receiving or intermediary fees are known in advance.

What should I include in a quote enquiry?

Provide the sending and receiving currencies, approximate amount, payment purpose, destination and preferred timing. For digital assets, state the requested direction and network if known. Do not include passwords, private keys or identity documents in a general enquiry.
