GUIDE 01 Preparing a cross-border payment
Start with the commercial purpose, not just the amount. Identify the payer, beneficiary, currencies and destination, then gather the invoice, contract or other supporting record.
Read the guide ↓GUIDE 02 Comparing quotes on a consistent basis
Compare the same sending amount, currency direction, settlement method and timing. A headline rate alone does not show the total transaction outcome.
Read the guide ↓GUIDE 03 What to prepare when a payment is delayed
Gather the transaction reference, date, amount, currency and payment confirmation. Confirm which stage was last communicated and whether any further information has been requested.
Read the guide ↓Preparing a cross-border payment
Start with the commercial purpose, not just the amount. Identify the payer, beneficiary, currencies and destination, then gather the invoice, contract or other supporting record.
Confirm the beneficiary’s legal name and payment details through an independently trusted channel. Explain any difference between the contract party and the receiving account holder.
Ask which documents are required before funding. Keep the approved instructions and transaction reference with the underlying records so the payment can be reconciled later.
Comparing quotes on a consistent basis
Compare the same sending amount, currency direction, settlement method and timing. A headline rate alone does not show the total transaction outcome.
Check the amount being converted, rate convention, service charges, known third-party fees and expected recipient amount. Ask which parts are fixed and which are estimates.
Record quote expiry and funding conditions. If those conditions change, request confirmation before proceeding rather than assuming the original quote still applies.
What to prepare when a payment is delayed
Gather the transaction reference, date, amount, currency and payment confirmation. Confirm which stage was last communicated and whether any further information has been requested.
Ask the beneficiary to check the receiving account and exact reference. Do not send a duplicate payment while the first transaction is being checked unless the team has confirmed the next step.
Contact MultiPay through the official contact page. If you suspect fraud, promptly contact the funding bank or relevant platform as well. Recovery or recall is not guaranteed.

Read article →Archive note: article wording, market data and regulatory references reflect their original context and may be out of date. Any historic reference to “real-time rates” does not mean this website displays an executable quote.
READ WITH CONTEXT Three checks for any market article.
01 / DATE When was it written?
Check the original publication date and the period covered. A recent website migration or page update does not make historical market commentary current.
02 / SOURCE What supports the view?
Distinguish reported data from commentary and forecasts. Consult current official sources for regulations and obtain professional advice for your own circumstances.
03 / APPLICATION Does it apply to your payment?
A market view is not a transaction quote. Confirm the actual rate, fees, availability and settlement conditions for the payment you intend to make.
KEEP EXPLORING Turn information into preparation.

Understand the process before you get started.
How do I get started?
Contact our team with your business or personal payment needs. We will explain eligibility, identity or company checks, supporting documents and available payment routes. An enquiry does not open an account or authorise a payment.
What if a payment is delayed or fails?
Contact admin@mfgpay.com with your payment reference and a description of the issue. Our team can review the status and explain any further information needed. Processing times depend on the payment route, banks and compliance checks. A completed payment may not be reversible.
Is BuildLinkWorld automatically connected?
The website provides a gateway to the BuildLinkWorld portal and payment enquiries. Automated order synchronisation, payment-status updates and API connections are planned integration requirements and are not represented here as live services. Each payment requires separate onboarding, review and approval.
