Overseas operating costs

New-market payment planning

INFORMATION & PREPARATION Separate entities. Connected records.
Companies within a group remain distinct legal entities. A common owner does not remove the need to identify the sending and receiving parties, explain the payment and confirm authority.

What to prepare
Legal names, registration details and group structure
Beneficial ownership and relationship between entities
Invoice, agreement or documented funding purpose
Authorised signatories, beneficiary details and source of funds
Provide sensitive documents only through the verification process confirmed by our team. Do not include identity documents, passwords or security codes in a general enquiry.
HOW IT WORKS Four steps. One clear payment trail.
- Map the entities. Explain ownership, operating locations and the intended transfer.
- Document the purpose. Provide the relevant agreement, invoice or funding records for review.
- Confirm authority and pricing. Check signatories, account details, applicable charges and expected timing.
- Reconcile across entities. Keep the transaction reference with both sides of the group’s records.
Rates, fees, expected recipient amount and estimated timing are confirmed for the transaction. Bank processing, network conditions and additional reviews can affect completion.
SERVICE SCOPE Know what the payment service covers.
This service does not provide cash pooling, investment management, lending, capital-raising or tax structuring. Loans, capital contributions and other funding transactions require separate assessment and are not automatically supported.
Availability depends on customer eligibility, purpose, jurisdiction, currency, provider arrangements and satisfactory verification. An enquiry does not guarantee acceptance. The applicable service provider and responsibilities are confirmed before you proceed.

Can I transfer funds to an overseas subsidiary?
Submit the entity relationship, purpose and supporting documents for review. Acceptance depends on the transaction, jurisdiction and available route.
Does common ownership remove verification requirements?
No. Relevant entities, beneficial owners, representatives and transaction purpose may still need verification.
Are loans or capital contributions supported?
Do not assume availability. Disclose the legal basis and provide supporting documents so the proposed transaction can be assessed.
Can one person approve for every company?
Authority must be established for each relevant entity. A group role alone does not demonstrate payment authority for every company.
